Went here with my friend for their birthday lunch. Drink and food was delicious, bit expensive but totally worth it!
Service was really good, they checked up on us a few times but not to often. Made sure we had plenty of water as well to balance our cocktails.
Wouldn't mind coming back, though I don't expect I will do it too often. (Not service or food related, I just don't go this way often)
Usually I am very happy with the tavern burger. I will order it to go and sometimes warm it in the oven when I am ready to eat it. Tonights order was a bit of disappointment because there was a very small portion of fries on the side. I can eat at least twice what is in the photo...
Great service delicious food! Had the zucchini appetizer and fish and chips both were great. The fish and chips were done with a light breading which I rally loved and the haddock tasted wonderful. Bartender Amber was awesome makes a really great cocktail!
Used to love this place. I’ve noticed every time I go lately there are less and less servers. Takes forever to get a table when there are so many vacant. I waited 15 minutes for a beer and watched it sit under the taps at the bar the whole time getting warm. The manager I think who also is hosting sometimes isn’t very excited or enthusiastic
After visiting shipwreck cove with a few kids and adults, we came to dine and were surprised to find that a group of 3 adults, 3 kids and 2 infants couldn’t fit at an outdoor table due to high chairs being in the way. We were then seated indoors and not offered a single high chair. Drinks came out fast and our margaritas were delicious! We ordered the kids food first and said we’d put our order in after. After receiving the kids food we didn’t see our server again for quite some time. We never received silverware or napkins. Our server didn’t return to take our order. When we finally saw her we decided to get our checks because the kids were getting antsy. I understand that kids can be a lot at a restaurant but we were there at 3:30pm (so not prime meal time or anything) and I would have thought a place with lots of family/kid-oriented activities would have a more kid-friendly restaurant.
Service is pretty slow sometimes. The bar can be very slow regardless if you're sitting there or at a table. However, the staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious and prices are better than most.
Used to go here a lot. Lots of changes in staff. Stopped in for just drinks, still a nice local place. Will definitely be back.
I just wanted to stop in for something quick while on the road, and ended up having the best Mac & Cheese I've ever had. Great staff, cool location, kind of like a hidden gem b/c as many times as I drove by this area, I never knew this restaurant was there. Going back again this weekend.
